Officiating a milestone ceremony is a both special honor and an important responsibility. From baby blessings to mother blessings, funerals, memorials and more, these meaningful moments depend on a comfortable and confident officiant. Coaching starts with an introductory conversation. First, we cover the basics of the occasion such as when and where your ceremony will take place, how it will be set up and who will attend. I also ask questions to understand your overall vision for the experience. This includes the feeling you want to create as well as the specific message or meaning you hope to express through your ceremony.
After that, I review your ceremony script. I will make suggestions to ensure each section is optimally ordered, spoken parts are refined and every element is considered. Finally, once you approve any updates, we go through your finished ceremony together. I offer guidance for each component in addition to practical tools and professional tips to help you feel ready to officiate.
