Small but no less special, elopement ceremonies let you focus on your marriage and one another. You might be eloping because you or your partner are in the military or facing insurance, family planning, or citizenship decisions. Perhaps you want an intimate ceremony or a no-fuss event, or maybe you are just ready to “make it official.”
Whatever the reason, I can help you elope with a simple but memorable ceremony. Whether you imagine a quiet moment in the park, a family-centered occasion in your home or a private event space, I help you find joy and meaning in any form your wedding takes. I also guide you through each step from getting your marriage license to choosing or writing your wedding vows.

Custom Ceremonies
“Heart to Heart” elopements are for custom or complex ceremonies, or for micro weddings at casual venues with a limited number of guests. This option includes readings, rituals or other personalized touches, as well as samples and support for choosing or writing your own vows. Couples invest $750 to $1,250 depending on location.
“Make It Official” elopements are similar to the civil service a Justice of the Peace might provide. Though some couples have a photographer, no witnesses are required. Sample wedding and ring vows are included, or you are welcome to write your own. Depending on location, my fees range from $200 to $500.

Elopement ceremonies always include signing and filing your marriage license. Click here for my guide to getting legally married in Massachusetts.
Ideas for “Make it Official” locations include Look Park, Childs Park, and the Smith College Capen Garden and Happy Chace ’28 Garden in Northampton, Stanley Park in Westfield, Mt. Pollux in Amherst and more.
I often officiate “Heart to Heart” elopements in couple’s homes or backyards, Airbnbs, and at casual venues like breweries, vineyards, farms and orchards, or private banquet or facility rooms at restaurants, hotels and inns.

Hannah was extremely friendly and not a bit thrown by the fact that we were totally disorganized. By asking us questions, she helped us narrow down exactly what we wanted. Hannah helped us create the most magical of moments through her warmth, wisdom, and good-naturedness. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

One of the best things about our wedding was finding Hannah. With her help, we built a ceremony unique to us. She tailored every aspect to what we needed and wanted. Hannah leads with grace and listens with care. From the very first interaction, we felt cared for, heard, safe, valued and respected.

We wanted our wedding to be small but special. Hannah got to know us and helped keep the focus on the meaning and importance of the day. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We feel lucky to have found Hannah and are so grateful for her guidance, wisdom and warm, caring approach.

Hannah was the best choice to officiate our wedding. She is polite, patient, organized, professional and just wonderful at what she does. I am so grateful we chose her! She made our special night run smoothly, speaks and writes beautifully, and genuinely cares about what you want.

Hannah made our small and intimate ceremony very special. She was responsive and accommodated us on short notice, going over the process and making everything easy for us. The ceremony was personalized, short and lovely and Hannah made it more special with her warm speech and professionalism.

Working with Hannah was a dream! She took our scattered ideas and created a beautiful, intimate and thoughtful custom ceremony combining American and Indian traditions. Our elopement was a wonderful experience. We are so grateful we found Hannah and cannot recommend her highly enough.
