I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, godmother, childhood survivor of a parent’s death, friend, colleague, community member… I never imagined my journey would include becoming a minister until, in 2009, I experienced a profoundly unexpected calling.
After discovering Interfaith, I found a path to fulfill my call as a trained but unaffiliated minister. Ordained in 2012 by The New Seminary in New York, NY, I am dedicated to serving people—like me—who don’t identify as religious or are not active within a faith community.
After ordination, I began studying at The Synthesis Center in Amherst, MA. Now a Certified Psychosynthesis Practitioner, I offer pastoral care with a transpersonal psychology approach. I am also initiated by Sanctuary Healing Arts in Amherst, MA as Level III Reiki Master.

Raised in the mountains of West Virginia and on the shores of Cape Cod, I now live in the beautiful Connecticut (Kwinitekw) River Valley of Western Massachusetts. Though often referred to as the “Pioneer Valley,” this is the ancestral home of the Nonotuck people. I honor and acknowledge the Indigenous inhabitants of these lands, past and present.
I make my home with my husband, Alexander, and our daughter, Bhramari (her name means “bumble bee” in Sanskrit), along with our dog and two guinea pigs. In my free time I love to read, swim, go for walks, travel and spend time with family and friends. What’s my secret superpower? I start each day with meditation, journaling and a sweaty HIIT workout!

God, Goddess, Heavenly Father, Great Mother, Lord, Spirit, Higher Power, Creator, Source, The Universe, Divine Mind, Buddha-Nature, Energy…
There are many names to describe an essence of love and warmth, of caring and protection, of wisdom, compassion and connection. Some look upward to find this source; some look within; some look to nature, or the face of another.
I became an Interfaith Minister so I could serve people who recognize all these different names and faces, presences and energies. When I use the particular language or viewpoint of my clients, my heart is also speaking to all names, with all understandings.

From start to finish, Hannah was invested and made the process deeply meaningful for us. The ceremony beautifully written and delivered. She calmed our nerves and gave sage advice, as well. People laughed, cried, clapped, cheered and smiled. It was more than we could have hoped for.

Hannah helped us create the most perfect wedding ceremony. After vows that had us both crying, we had guests coming up to us saying it was the most meaningful wedding ceremony they’d ever been to, and that they were crying right there along with us. Our wedding ceremony will forever be one of the most special moments of our life.

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Hannah. She took the time to get to know us and create a ceremony that captured who we are and what marriage means to us. Hannah gave us many options and suggestions to help us find just the right reading, vows and ceremony components.

Hannah worked with us to make sure the words, readings and the ceremony in general perfectly reflected who we are, where we come from, where our families come from and what is important to us as a couple. Our guests loved the ceremony and it was one of the most memorable parts of our wedding.

From the moment we met Hannah we knew she was the right choice. Her warm and caring demeanor and genuine interest in getting to know us as a couple was much appreciated. Hannah wove together a thoughtful and heartfelt custom ceremony incorporating elements of both Hindu and traditional American wedding rituals.

Hannah goes above and beyond as an officiant. Her interfaith background lays the groundwork for a flexible approach to individualizing each ceremony. She also has an incredibly warm and intuitive presence. Overall, she is able to connect as both warm and professional. She really captured our goal for the ceremony.
